Daily Fortune

0 questionsβ‰ˆ 15 seconds

One fortune per day, refreshed at midnight. Build a streak. Nebu notices when you skip a day and he does mention it.

Get today’s fortune

How this works

  1. You answer honestly

Or you lie. Nebu claims he can tell. He cannot, but the questions are built so that lying is also a personality.

  2. The oracle branches

Every answer bends the path. Two people never get the same ten questions, which is why the ending lands the way it does.

  3. You receive a fortune

A named archetype, three prophecies, one cosmic warning, a lucky item, and a number you will now irrationally trust.

  4. You come back tomorrow

Because your daily fortune changes at midnight, and because leaving a streak at six days is psychologically intolerable.

Twelve possible endings. One of them is yours.

Every reading lands on an archetype. Which one is decided by your answers, not by chance.

The Caffeinated ProphetRuns on urgency and a plan written at 2am
The Velvet StrategistKind on the surface, three moves ahead underneath
The Soft CatastropheEverything on fire, everyone somehow comforted
The Pocket PhilosopherThinks in questions, answers in weather metaphors
The Lucky FoolFalls into wells, comes out holding treasure
The Beautifully DoomedCursed, charming, entirely undefeated
The Quiet EngineNobody sees the work. Everybody sees the result.
The Human BonfirePeople gather. You did not ask them to. They came anyway.
The Reluctant OracleSees it coming. Says nothing. Is proven right.
The Spreadsheet RomanticColour-coded on the outside, hopelessly sentimental within
The Weekend DeityMaster of rest. Feared by Mondays.
The Cosmic LoitererWandering with intent. Destination optional.

Why people keep coming back

A branching oracle, not a quiz

The question you get next depends on the answers you already gave. Thousands of paths, one destiny each.

Kind even when it roasts

Nebu has never once told a person they are doomed. He has told several that they are "structurally optimistic about laundry".

Shareable in one tap

Your fortune becomes a card you can send, post or save. Your friends will absolutely argue with theirs.

No account, no email, no nonsense

Nothing leaves your device unless you press share. Your streak lives in your own browser.

Questions mortals ask

Is this real fortune telling?

No. This is entertainment, written by humans and delivered by a fictional cosmic orb with a crown problem. Nebu is very confident and completely made up. Please do not restructure your mortgage around him.

How does the oracle decide my fortune?

Every answer you give shifts six hidden traits: chaos, heart, hustle, dreaming, luck and sociability. Your final position across those six axes selects your archetype, and the archetype plus a seed drawn from your exact answers writes the prophecy. Same answers, same fortune. Different answers, different life.

What is the difference between the 10 and 20 question reading?

The quick reading gives you your archetype, three prophecies, a lucky item and a warning. The deep reading adds your fatal flaw, your love and money forecast, your element, the season ahead, and a considerably more detailed opinion about you.

Does my daily fortune actually change every day?

Yes. It is generated from the date plus your own oracle profile, so your Tuesday and your friend’s Tuesday are different. And it flips at local midnight.

Do you store my answers?

Not on any server. Your streak and your archetype are saved in your own browser’s local storage so the daily fortune can be personal. Clear your browser data and Nebu forgets you entirely, which he takes personally.

Is it free?

Completely. The site is paid for by ads, which is why Nebu occasionally pauses to "commune with the void" while a banner loads.

Your future is standing right there, tapping its foot

Two minutes. Ten questions. One prophecy you will quote at brunch.
